Quick Blazer Notes

1. Rudy Fernandez should have played more in the 4th quarter, a lot more. He has the most experience on the team in "big games" from his experience on the the Spanish Olympic team.

2. Bonehead play by Joel - love the guy and realize he was trying to make a hustle play but that one really hurt especially with timeouts left.

3. Brandon is not D-wade, Kobe or Lebron in the eyes of the refs. Against Battier those are probably the only 3 guys in the league who would get a blocking foul on that play.

4. Battier is not a stats guy he just wins games and can't be left open - great trade a few years back in him for Gay. Gay will always be a great scorer on a bad team - kind of like Shareef Abdur-Rahim

5. The winner of game 4 is gonna win that series. Rockets in 6.

6. The Blazers have done a good job of beating up on Yao. Unfortunately the team that really helps is the Lakers.

7. Aaron Brooks has returned to Earth.

8. Landry and Scola have played some very good ball this series

    1. I agree on Rudy. Should have played more.

    2. I really cussed a blue streak when that happened.

    3. Pretty bogus call, but the point is well taken.

    4. I hate Battier. Mostly because he's good. And he went to Duke.

    5. BLAZERS in 7!

    6. Yao will be back in China for the second round.

    7. This actually makes me sad. Best case scenario is Blazer wins and Aaron Brooks excelling.

    8. True. But man, we have kind of slept on defense. Seems like every game someone who shouldn't goes off on us -- Von Wafer, Ron Artest, Luis Scola, Carl Landry.

  2. On the positive note barring some major injuries I don't see Portland next year doing worse than Western Conference Finals - I'd like to see Portland bring in Raymond Felton at 1 and bring Steve on the bench. Looking forward to what KP can do in the summer.
