Photo of the Day October 24th 2013
I thought I'd start trying to post a new photo every day I can so here is day 1. I took this one on my lunch break on a nice, warm October day in Portland's Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood. This is the famous Hung Far Low sign which had been outside of Ping which has recently shutdown. I've heard rumors that Lardo is moving in to the space. Hopefully the sign stays.

Maui 2013
Back from another great week in Maui. We took it relatively easy since we've done all the tourist stuff on the island save the drive to Hana. Not the greatest of weather but in Hawaii well wait 5 minutes and it will probably change. We stayed in a lovely two bedroom condo on the ground floor of the Hololani in Kahana. We spent most of our time swimming in the pool, relaxing on the lanai watching for whales and turtles and searching the grounds for new birds for our "Big Year". Maui is starting to feel like home for us. The plan for our next trip is to go the Big Island but we will be back to Maui again soon I am sure.
